This beautiful arch was built for the 1888 Universal Exposition, which took place at the Parc de la Ciutadella. The Arc de Triomf, situated at the end of a wide promenade, served as the exposition's main entrance.

in fron ot the main fountain called the Cascada inside the Parc de la Ciutadella, one of the biggest parks in the center of Barcelona. Is located right next to the Old Town. It is a fantastic spot for pictures. There is also a lake where you can rent a boat.
The Cascada is a beautiful fountain and waterfall framed by a massive arch in the Baroque style, adorned with playful cherubs and winged horses. Josep Fontsère along with young Antoni Gaudi, then a student, designed the Cascada for the 1888 Exhibition. The design is based on the Trevi Fountain in Rome. A visitor can climb a massive stairway to the top of the waterfall for a fantastic view and great pictures!

It also provides a great view of the Magic Fountain.

St Paul's Chapel in Ground Zero

I'm standing in front of the St Paul's Chapel in Manhattan. This is a small church and cemetery right across the street from ground zero where the Twin Towers once stood. It survived the attack completely untouched.

Opened in 1766, St. Paul's Chapel is Manhattan's oldest public building in continuous use - a place where George Washington worshiped and 9/11 recovery workers received round-the-clock care. There are displays of the 260 days that it acted as a base for many rescue workers and all the volunteers that were there to support them. Over 14,000 volunteers worked in 12 hour shifts to provide solace, comfort and care for 2000 workers each day. St Paul's Chapel became the spiritual home of Ground Zero.

You can take pictures outsode and inside the house, also along the small gardens. It is a great spot to take pictures of boats passing along the New River

I'm standing at the Boardwalk on Hollywood Beach in Hollywood Florida. The exact spot is at then east end of Johnson Street in front of the openTheater.
It is a 2.5 mile long walking promenade right along the beach. It has a bike path and is always full of people jogging , skate rollers, bikers. There are many cheap restaurants along the boardwalk, nothing fancy. There are several cheap motels right on the beach .
3 oceanfront parks featuring playgrounds, paddleball courts, ping pong tables, interactive water play fountain, picnic pavilions and restrooms
They also have a free outdoor concerts at the Hollywood Beach Theatre.
The whole area is kind of cheesy and the shops and restaurants are basic stuff nothing fancy but the whole area is great for people photography.

The Spanish Steps

I'm standing at the bottom of the Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy looking at the Fontana della Barcaccia ( Fountain of the Old Boat). The italian name is Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti. It is a set of 138 steps climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. Altough they are called The Spanish Steps, it was actually the French who built them as a way to reach the French Church above. The steps and piazza are named 'Spanish' because the Spanish Embassy used to reside there. In the Piazza di Spagna at the base is the Early Baroque fountain called Fontana della Barcaccia ('Fountain of the Old Boat'), built in 1627-29 and often credited to Pietro Bernini, father of a more famous son, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who is recently said to have collaborated on the decoration

The High Line

on the High Line elevated park in Chelsea. The High Line is a 1.45-mile (2.33 km) New York City park built on a section of the former elevated freight railroad spur called the West Side Line, which runs along the lower west side of Manhattan; it has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway. The High Line Park currently runs from Gansevoort Street, one block below West 12th Street, in the Meatpacking District, up to 20th Street, and will eventually run through the neighborhood of Chelsea to the West Side Yard, near the Javits Convention Center.
The recycling of the railway into an urban park has spurred real estate development in the neighborhoods which lie along the line.
The High Line's planting design is inspired by the self-seeded landscape that grew on the out-of-use elevated rail tracks during the 25 years after trains stopped running.

I took several pictures of this amazing work of art, and now tourist attraction, by a guy named Selaron. He dedicated the last 20 years to decorate these 200 steps with tiles the colors of the brazilian flag. He now includes tiles on the steps sent to him from all over the world. The Escadaria Selaron or Selaron Staircase is a great spot for pictures and if you hang around long enough you will meet Selaron, he lives right off the steps in a small apartment where he sells other paintings.
This is a must see when you are in Rio as well as the entire neighborhood of Lapa

The statue is 39.6 metres (130 ft) tall, including its 9.5 meter (31 feet) pedestal, and 30 metres (98 ft) wide. It weighs 635 tonnes (700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. A symbol of Christianity, the statue has become an icon of Rio and Brazil. It is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, and was constructed between 1922 and 1931.

Any part of Aspen is phenomenal for pictures. I like the area around the Jerome Hotel because it is full of galleries, restaurants, cafes and is at the base of Aspen mountain. Inside the Hotel is the J- Bar with is luxury saloon ambiance that attracts a lot of people including celebrities. Walk around the area and try different shots then walk around the inside of the Hotel.

Stiltsvile is located in the Biscayne Bay south of the Cape Florida in Key Biscayne. This particular house is called the A-frame house. There are 7 houses remaining from the original 27. The houses have been destroyed over the years by hurricanes. No new houses can be built and if during a storm the house is destroyed by more than 50% it can be removed. There are ongoing efforts to preserve these Florida landmarks.

This has become one of my favorite places in Miami to take pictures because of the colorful street murals, people , cigar stores and old barber shops. They have a lot of Art galleries also, especially along the Calle Ocho section.
The rough boundaries are the Miami River (north), SW 11th Street (south), SW 22nd Avenue (west) and I-95 (east).[1]
Little Havana is noted as a center of social, cultural, and political activity in Miami.

In 1920 because of the popularity of the structure, the city of Nashville, over the next 11 years replaced the plaster, wood and brick building using permanent materials, and is the version still stands today.

This is a 'secret' spot that our guide took us to during our tour of Rome. We parked right outside the Priorato de Malta ( Knights of Malta) at the Piazza dei Cavalieri dei Malta. The Knights of Malta is a big walled compound and there was really nothing interesting to see there until the guide told us to peek through the keyhole of the dark green door number 3. I thought she was crazy but when I looked I saw this amazing view of the St Peters dome that looked really close even though is really far across the river. It is framed by the hedges inside the compound's gardens. There was nobody else there that day so I wonder how many people know about this spot.

the Arenal Volcano, one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world, is a fascinating natural wonder and must visit destination for many travelers to Costa Rica. On almost a daily basis, red-hot rocks crash down its steep slopes and volcanic grumbles produce huge ash columns above the crater.

The Golden Temple

I am standing at Harmandir Sahib. The Golden Temple.Located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. Its the holiest shrine in Sikhism. The temple is surrounded by a large lake of water, known as the Sarovar which consists of Amrit (Holy Water or Immortal Nectar). There are four entrances to the temple, signifying the importance of acceptance and openness; ostensibly, this concept is reminiscent of the tent of Abraham in the Old Testament -- his tent was open on all four sides in order to be able to welcome travelers from all directions. Inside the temple complex there are many shrines to past Sikh Gurus, Saints and martyrs (see map). There are three holy trees (Bers) each signifying a historical event or Sikh saint. Inside the temple there are many memorial plaques that commemorate past Sikh historical events, saints, martyrs and includes commemorative inscriptions of all the Sikh soldiers who died fighting in World wars one and two. For a new visitor the first recommended place to visit is the information Office highlighted in the map and followed by visiting the Sikh Central museum near the main entrance and clock tower. Anyone who wants to enter the Harmandir Sahib may do so, irrespective of religion, colour, creed or sex. The only restrictions are that the person must not drink alcohol, eat meat or smoke cigarettes or other drugs while in the shrine. Visitors are, as well, expected to dress appropriately and everyone must cover their heads as a sign of respect, remove their shoes and wash their feet in the small pool of water as they enter the Harmandir Sahib premises. Head scarves are provided. All Sikh temples (Gurdwaras) in the world follow this traditional rule that everyone is welcome to enter. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, meaning that Harmandir sahib is open to anyone.

This photo spot is outside the park behind a 7 ft. fence. The park closes at 5 PM so it's the only way to get this shot. You may arrive before the park closes but there may not be as many birds. Every evening Ibis and Egrets from around the area flock to this tree and spend the night. It's nice to just to stand and watch these birds fly from far away to this tree.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is the home to the historic lighthouse built in 1825 and reconstructed in 1846, the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade County. The lighthouse is at the tip of Key Biscayne facing the Atlantic Ocean. When you pass the Entrance station proceed all the way towards end of the road where you’ll find the parking lot. I was standing to the southernness entrance to the beach just opposite of the last parking lot. There is another farther entrance which is to the lighthouse itself which then it can be photographed from the opposite end.

I took this shot on Mulberry Street between Prince and Houston in Soho. There are plenty of brick walls to take pictures in front of, but this one is particularly good because the bricks are bright red. It makes for a great background if you like to do people photography, which is what I do most of the time.
The professional photographer in the picture obviously thought the same thing and picked this spot to do a model shoot. This is a common scene in Soho as well as celebrities shooting a movie.
